The Tides & Tales team are delighted to announce that we are hosting a maritime heritage training course commencing in the area in February in partnership with WWETB Adult & Community Education.

Information sessions

It’s something we have been working on for many months now, and in an effort to give people as much information about the course and what we are trying to achieve, we will host two information sessions in Dunmore and Duncannon towards the end of January. These will be held in

Dunmore East RNLI 11am on Tuesday 27th Jan
Community Hall, Duncannon 11am on Thursday 29th Jan

Details

It might be of relevance to adults, men or women, with an interest and knowledge of the rivers, maritime or fishing heritage, writing, music, photography, traditions, folklore or just an open mind and willingness to explore with others the heritage of our communities. It’s a free course, will run for up to 10 weeks and a max of 14 participants.
